great step-by-step advice

After about 10 years as an officer in the military and being told where my next job will be, I'm back in the civilian job market again. This book has been a great guide to the civilian job market. I highly recommend this book for 2 types of people...those who are just finishing school and looking for their first job, and those who are not particularly happy with their current career and want a change.

This book gives step-by-step advice for the entire process, from figuring out what you might like to do for a job to what to do after the interview is over. The detailed advice on finding jobs to apply for, writing a cover letter, calling a prospective employer, and preparing for the interview is fabulous. It has a lot of great advice along with several exercises to get you going on each step of your job search.

Do you have a hard time knowing what to say in difficult situations? Do you have a hard time figuring out how to sell your strengths to a future employer? Do you have a hard time figuring out how to reply to those difficult interview questions? This book covers all of these areas...it tells you exactly what you need to include in a cover letter, what sort of answers you need to be prepared for when you call a future employer, and how to safely answer those painful interview questions. I ended up getting a job before reading much of it. A local unemployment office displays posters by this publisher/author that have career & job hunting tips with the thinking behind the tips included. It was real smart stuff that I hadn't thought about or applied to my own efforts. Seeing those posters was enough to make me want to have the book.

This book changed my life.

I'm 17 years old, living in Asia, and just a week ago, I fulfilled a hot 26 year old's sexual fantasies of getting down in a secluded park because of this book. It was passionate, debaucherous, and amazing.

I would not have enjoyed that without this book.

Here's hard the truth: Most men in Western societies are not taught how to seduce women. We're brainwashed to believe that our sexual intentions are "creepy", "perverted", that the desire to seduce a girl is downright wrong and we should repress the energy.

That's why we have men like Liam McRae who exist in this world, to reverse the damage of the modern world. The Beginner's Guide to Darkness. By Geoff Thompson

There is an animation movie called `Nocturna' which tells the story of a little boy Tim who is afraid of the dark. After being bullied by his fellow orphans he runs out and flees to the roof as up there he has the light from the stars. His fear of the dark however created a huge shadow that extinguishes all the light. The creatures of the night try to have Tim to overcome his fear before it's all too late. At the very last moment Tim realises that all he has to do is to embrace his fear to make it disappear as without him fearing it, it can't exist.

Now what does this animation have to do with this book, written by Geoff Thompson, a world-class martial artist, filmmaker, author and guru that started off as being a depressed man who gradually embraced his darkness facing down all his fears which catapulted him into Coventry's violent nightlife of the 80's as a doorman?

To quote Pat Morita, the actor that plays Miyagi Sensei in the Karate kid the next generation: `The answer is only important when you ask the right question'. In the question above I have already embedded the answer.

Darkness is the opposite of light and light is the opposite of heavy. So shed off the heavy dark burden and become light.
